Tour History

Roads of Ruin

2018: The Abyss Circuit

Onfido’s first “tour” was a string of chaotic gigs in 2018, playing dive bars and abandoned warehouses across their industrial hometown. The Abyss, a decrepit club, hosted their debut show — a night that ended in a brawl when Jace leapt into the crowd during “Cinder Saints.” These early performances were raw, with “Oblivion’s Call” igniting crowds of misfits. The Noir Collective was born here, trading bootleg tapes and graffitiing lyrics on alley walls. No venues, no stage lights — just pure, unfiltered rebellion.

2019-2020: Dust and Divinity Tour

After *Dust and Divinity* dropped, Onfido hit the road for their first proper tour, a 20-city trek across underground venues in 2019-2020. From Chicago’s Empty Bottle to Seattle’s Crocodile, they played to packed houses of punks and poets. A standout show in Portland saw Lira’s guitar catch fire (literally) during “Rust Requiem,” yet she played on. Fans on X shared grainy videos, cementing Onfido’s rep for chaotic energy. The tour was cut short by global events, but not before “Hollow Shrine” became a live anthem.

2021-2022: Ashes of Elysium Tour

The *Ashes of Elysium* tour was Onfido’s breakout, a 35-city journey in 2021-2022 that took them to bigger venues like New York’s Bowery Ballroom. “Elysium’s Fall” was a crowd favorite, with Draven’s drum solo shaking floors. A surprise acoustic set in Austin, where Vera led “Ruin’s Bloom,” went viral on X, racking up millions of views. The Noir Collective grew global, with fans in London and Tokyo trading setlists. This tour proved Onfido could make arenas feel like basements.

2024: Noir Eternal World Tour

The *Noir Eternal* tour in 2024 was Onfido’s magnum opus, a 50-city global odyssey. From Paris’s Bataclan to Sydney’s Metro Theatre, they sold out every show. “Shadow Anthem” opened each night, Jace’s vocals cutting through the dark like a blade. A Mexico City gig saw the crowd sing “Veil of Knives” so loud the band stopped playing, awestruck. X exploded with fan art and live clips, the Noir Collective calling it a “religious experience.” This tour solidified Onfido as a global force.

Fan Stories

The Noir Collective’s stories are the soul of Onfido’s tours. @VoidWanderer met their partner at a 2019 Chicago show, bonding over “Iron Lament.” @AshenPoet got a lyric from “Noir Cascade” tattooed after a 2022 London gig. In 2024, a Tokyo fan gifted Vera a handmade bass strap, now her stage staple. These moments, shared on X and at meetups, weave the Collective into Onfido’s legacy. The road is their church, and every show a sermon.
